The Hiace Cruising Cabin Custom is a high-quality compact camper, originally built by Toyota & dealer supplied when new, as a 4-berth camper. This is not an inferior conversion. We have improved it with a high-quality sound system, Widened the body & fitted Watanabe wheels & added a comfortable Recaro seat for the driver, for better long-distance comfort. Our staff have used this vehicle for touring with a family of 4, for up to 10 days at a time, in total comfort. In Japan, there is no need for in-built showers and smelly portable toilets, since all public facilities are clean and there are natural hot springs in most towns and villages.
Equipped with 2 large auxiliary batteries and two starter motor batteries, to reliably power & separately start the 2.8L Diesel engine, this vehicle offers excellent facilities for family touring in a compact, easy to drive package.
N.B. This vehicle is NOT intended, nor equipped for use in heavy winter weather. Please contact us for alternatives, in case you need a vehicle for such use (e.g. snowboarding).

Why have no stove, or one hob when you could have two for when needed?
Powered by an inexpensive gas canister, usually available in Japanese Home Centers or Supermarkets, you now have the option of staying in for a meal whilst out on the road. Reliable and robust, these stoves can cook up a feast, or boil the kettle for when you want a hot drink – pretty much anywhere.
Please remember to remove the canister after use, to avoid potential hazards when this equipment is not in use & return in the same clean condition as supplied. Thanks!

The Engel brand is, to any experienced camping enthusiast, the best of mobile fridges. Anything that needs to be held at a set temperature between -18 degrees C and 55 degrees C plus or minus 1 degree C. It maintains the set temperature with the advanced electronics from Sawafuji Electric Company and the Latest F series Sawafuji Swing Motor compressor along with the built-in heating element. It features an LED display, push-button control, built-in battery monitor, shoulder strap and a latch that accepts a padlock (padlock not included). All in a compact 14-liter chest cabinet. Just plug it into the cigar lighter by day and it'll preserve your food and drinks so they're at ideal temperature whilst you're on the move.

At Jomon, we want you to take advantage of as many possibilities as possible for your unique adventure. These one-touch tents set up in minutes and are light enough to not be a burden when trekking.
Also, for example, if there’s more of you than the camping vehicle can comfortably accommodate, or if you're particularly interested in hiking and want to give yourselves the option of spending nights off the beaten track, perhaps beside a cascading waterfall, or high in the mountains to watch a sunrise, this is your solution!
